The use of Potassium Iodide helps in the prevention of radioiodine being absorbed by the thyroid gland. KI must be taken daily until a risk of significant exposure to radioiodine by either inhalation or ingestion no longer exists. This product is ideal for children and pregnant women who may be exposed to high levels of radioactive iodine.

Recommended Use: Adults take 2 capsules per day, children over 3 years of age take 1 to 2 capsules per day and children less than 3 years of age consult your health care professional. For maintaining beneficial levels of iodide in the thyroid, use the maximum daily dose. Do not use it for more than 10 days without consulting a physician. Use only according to these directions.
